No Moore for Albion
Darren Moore will not be risked for Burton's Carling Cup first round match with Cardiff.
The veteran centre-half and club captain missed the 0-0 home draw with Oxford at the weekend with a sore Achilles and will again sit out but he should be available for the second league game of the season away at Barnet on Saturday.
Midfielder Adam Bolder was taken off in the 68th minute of the match against the Us with a hip problem but should be available but right-back Andrew Corbett is a doubt.
Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido will definitely be without Jacques Maghoma who is away on international duty with DR Congo.
Long-term injury victims Ryan Austin (knee), Richard Jackson and Keith Gilroy are still some way away from full-fitness.
