Miller boost for Rangers

Kenny Miller has handed Rangers a major boost by declaring himself fit for this weekend's Active Nation Scottish Cup tie against St Mirren. The striker has been troubled by a hamstring injury recently, which saw him miss the win over Falkirk in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and Wednesday night's Co-operative Insurance Cup victory over St Johnstone. However, he expects to come through training on Thursday without any problems and be in a position to push for a place in the team for the visit to Paisley on Saturday. He said: "I will join the boys for training today (Thursday) and hopefully come through that unscathed and be back in the plans for the St Mirren game. "I feel fine and I just want to kick on for the rest of the season."
