Burton building up fitness

Paul Peschisolido does not expect the pre-season visit to Ilkeston to provide any pointers to Burton`s prospects for the forthcoming League Two campaign. The Albion boss is hoping to secure an arrangement with opposite number Kevin Wilson to field a different XI in each half for the game on Saturday. "It will be a training exercise, pure and simple, and the result is not something I am worried about," said Peschisolido. "We are still in the very early stages of our preparations for the new season and this game is all about an exercise in improving fitness and sharpness." Albion fans will get their first glimpse of a cluster of new signings and trialists at the New Manor Ground, with goalkeeper Adam Legzdins, defender Nathan Stanton and striker James Ellison set for their first outings for the club.
