Burton boss admits `backward step'
Boss Paul Peschisolido accepts that Burton have "taken a backward step" this season.
Albion finished 13th in their maiden season in the Football League but only secured their npower League Two safety with Saturday's 1-1 draw at Southend this time round.
Peschisolido stressed that he wanted to be the man to take them forward again.
"As long as the chairman will have me, I want to be here," the Canadian told the Burton Mail. "I love my job and I love working with these players. I've come here to do a job - to progress this team.
"We've taken a backward step this year and I think a lot of it is attributed to the fact that we've played half a season in three months due to all the postponements we had.
"But there are a lot of areas we need to improve and we have to hope that the weather doesn't do that to us again."
