Burton hope for unchanged squad for Sheffield Wednesday clash
Burton boss Nigel Clough hopes to have an unchanged squad for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday.
Clough has some players nursing the usual bumps and niggles following the galling injury-time defeat to Bristol City at the weekend but nothing that should affect his team selection.
Should he wish to make changes, Clough has Hamza Choudhury and Stuart Beavon pushing for recalls.
The likes of Calum Butcher, Damien McCrory and Tom Naylor are also options as the Brewers look for their first ever Sky Bet Championship points.
Wednesday striker Fernando Forestieri will be back in contention after publicly apologising for not travelling to Norwich on Saturday.
Forestieri, linked with possible moves to Newcastle and Derby, insists he wants to stay at Hillsborough and it remains to be seen if head coach Carlos Carvalhal includes him in his squad.
Carvalhal has no new injury or suspension worries as Wednesday bid to maintain their unbeaten start, while striker Steven Fletcher is hoping for a recall and Will Buckley is pushing for his first league start for the club.
Winger Modou Sougou and forward Marco Matias are both struggling with minor complaints and midfielder Filipe Melo remains sidelined with a knee problem.
