Plenty of options for Rowett

Burton boss Gary Rowett has no fresh injury or suspension concerns ahead of Dagenham's visit to the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday.

The Brewers, who recorded a 2-0 win over non-league Altrincham in their FA Cup first round replay on Thursday, face a quick turnaround to be ready for Saturday's clash in the league.

Club captain John McGrath made his return to first-team action from the substitutes bench on Thursday after an eight-month lay off.

The midfielder is now vying for a place in the starting line-up but this match could come too soon for him.

Defender Nathan Stanton, who was rested for the cup victory over Altrincham, could return to Rowett's starting XI on Saturday should the boss opt to change things around.

Dagenham boss John Still will be hard pushed to make any changes to his side for the trip to Burton should Luke Wilkinson get the green light to play.

Still watched his side record a tremendous 5-0 victory over promotion candidates Rotherham at Victoria Road last weekend.

Defender Wilkinson was forced off in the closing stages having taken a blow to the head which required seven staples to close the wound. He now hopes to get the all-clear to feature wearing a bandage but should that not happen then Still will be forced into a reshuffle.

The most likely option would see Michael Spillane move back into central defence and Kevin Maher be called into midfield having served his one-match suspension.

Striker Sam Williams also missed out last weekend due to a knock but has trained all week and is battling to be in contention, as is defender Jake Caprice following his arrival on a month-long loan deal from Blackpool this week.
