Brewers Sign Duo

Burton have bolstered their squad with the double signing of Nathan Stanton and James Ellison   Stanton has joined the Brewers on a two-year deal after turning down an offer of a one-year contract extension at Rochdale Central defender Stanton revealed Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido (pictured) played a big part in his decision to leave Spotland. "The manager here impressed me a lot," said Stanton. "The facilities here are second to none and that was a major factor in me deciding to come here. I am very pleased to be here. Striker Ellison arrives from Liverpool and has also inked a two-year deal after leaving Anfield, he is relishing the prospect of playing regular first-team football. "This is a good opportunity for me,"  "I think at this age now I need to be getting some first-team experience under my belt. I just want to show people what I can do and hopefully get recognised. "It was very difficult decision to leave the club I have supported since I was a boy but I realise now that it is the best decision I could have made."
