Brewers Groundman Bags Award
We are all proud to announce that Brewers Groundsman Simon Marshall has been named the League 2 groundsman of the year Simon's success follows on from last season when the Burton Albion pitch came second in the whole of non-league and is a fitting reward for the hours of time and effort put into producing a superb playing surface at the Pirelli Stadium. Marshall himself was delighted to hear of his success "I am really surprised and honoured to pick up this award, but I must thank Cliff (Wilson) and the other people who have helped me throughout the season, it is great to have played a part in what has been another great season for Burton Albion and to be recognised for it".
