Brewers Draw Cardiff Away

16 June 2010 10:23
The Brewers travel away to Cardiff city in the First Round of the Carling Cup The Brewers will travel to the Cardiff City Stadium to face the beaten Play-Off finalists and manager Paul Peschisolido is relishing the challenge He said, 'Once again we've drawn a big team at this stage. It's a good test for us and the opportunity to visit a fantastic new stadium. 'They narrowly missed out on promotion last season so we are expecting an extremely tough test against a top Championship side. 'It's a good opportunity to see how far we have come since last season. It will be extremely difficult but I am looking forward to the challenge. This is what it is all about, it's a chance to pit our wits against one of the best teams in the draw.' Last season the Brewers suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat away to Reading at the same stage, but the Brewers boss is confident his side will be better prepared for the game in the Welsh capital. Games will be played the week commencing the 9th August, 2010
