Both bosses satisfied with point

Managers Paul Peschisolido and Micky Adams had few complaints with the outcome following a goalless stalemate between Burton and Port Vale at the Pirelli Stadium. Vale looked the most likely to break the deadlock. Marc Richards looked dangerous and home keeper Adam Legzdins tipped over a shot from the visiting skipper before using his legs to deny the same player. Burton`s most notable effort was top-scorer Shaun Harrad's well-struck volley from the edge of the area. "It was a point gained for me against a very good side," said Burton boss Peschisolido. "Our passing wasn't as good as it might have been but I'm proud of the lads because they worked extremely hard. "Maybe we could have gone to get even more from the game with a bit more quality, but overall I thought it was a fair result and I was pleased with the display. "You want to play football but you don't want to concede goals and I thought we looked extremely solid."
