Boertien blow for Brewers

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido will be forced to change a winning side for the trip to Cheltenham. Albion recorded their first victory of the campaign at home to Morecambe last weekend but it came at a price as Paul Boertien suffered a calf injury. The full-back was forced off during the first half and scans have revealed he will need around a month to recover. Centre-half Tony James could be recalled to deputise at full-back as he did at Barnet earlier this month. John McGrath, who replaced Boertien against the Shrimps, and fellow midfielders Jimmy Phillips and Jacques Maghoma are also pushing for recalls along with forwards Richard Walker and James Ellison.
