[LNB]The 25-year-old will have an operation early next week and will not return until pre-season training in 2010. [LNB]"This year cannot end fast enough for me," Austin told BBC Radio Derby. [LNB]"I heard something snap in my leg and thought I'd broken it but saw my leg wasn't broken so then I started worrying about my knee."[LNB] I know how long it takes and how mentally strong you have to be but hopefully I'll come back fitter and stronger Burton defender Ryan Austin His worst fears were confirmed after a scan earlier this week. [LNB]But Austin is already trying to think positive and is encouraged by his excellent form this season. [LNB]"I got myself into the team and felt like I've been doing OK and have hit a level of consistency that I haven't been able to hit in the past," he added. [LNB]"I've had this injury before in my left knee and have not had any trouble since the operation so one positive I can take is that it makes it stronger after the operation. [LNB]"I know how long it takes and how mentally strong you have to be but hopefully I'll come back fitter and stronger."
