urnley assistant boss Russ Wilcox believes the squad being assembled at Turf Moor will prove a formidable force next season.[LNB] The Clarets have recruited striker Chris Iwelumo and midfielder Dean Marney, as well as retaining the core of last season's squad thus far.[LNB]Wilcox accepts the sale of striker Steven Fletcher was a blow to the club's hopes of making an immediate return to the top flight, but he remains in buoyant mood.[LNB]"We are pleased with the work we've done so far this summer," Wilcox told the club's official website.[LNB]"We are still moving and have targets to look at. But I think the two signings we've made up to yet are excellent signings and both bring something different to the table.[LNB]"You can look at the squad and if there was a game tomorrow we could put a very good team out."
