What a shock! Sousa gone!

It's been the Championship's worst kept secret this week; the dismissal of Leicester City boss Paulo Sousa after just nine league games in charge after his move from Swansea. Sousa replaced Nigel Pearson at the Crisp Bowl but results so far have seen them hit the bottom of the league. and they've conceded no less than ten goals in their last two league games, going down 6-1 at Portsmouth and 4-3 at Norwich.Milan Mandaric backed him in midweek, but Mandaric's words are always hollow ones when it comes to managers and, Harry Redknapp and Nigel Pearson apart, he's never allowed them to get on with the job, wielding the axe at a moment's notice. The minute he spoke in defence of the manager you knew his time was up and the only surprise is that they have waited until Friday to make the decision.Leicester have placed Mike Stowell and Chris Powell in temporary charge until they appoint a new manager who will be the ninth since Mandaric took control of the club in 2007. Next time you have concerns about the way Burnley Football Club are run, just stop and think, we could have someone like Milan Mandaric in charge.
