Ross Wallace scored Burnley's equaliser at Coventry on Saturday and that, along with his general performance at the Ricoh has won him a place in the Football League's Official Championship Team of the Week.

Wallace has become the fourth Burnley player to win a place in the weekly team this season, following on from Brian Easton (Cardiff game), Charlie Austin (Derby) and Lee Grant (Millwall).

He was, without doubt, one of the better players at Coventry and is currently fighting it out with Grant for the man of the match. His goal was his third this season having previously netted in the Carling Cup win against Burton Albion and the 5-1 league demolition of Nottingham Forest.

He's won a place this week in a team made up of players from eight different clubs with Birmingham, Crystal Palace and Millwall all having two players included.

The full team is: David Forde (Millwall), Nathaniel Clyne (Crystal Palace), Patrick McCarthy (Crystal Palace), Rhys Williams (Middlesbrough), Liam Ridgewell (Birmingham), Chris Burke (Birmingham), Aron Gunnarsson (Cardiff), Mikele Leigertwood (Reading), Ross Wallace (Burnley), Luke Varney (Portsmouth), Darius Henderson (Millwall).
