Wallace: I jumped at the chance to move

Ross Wallace says he did not have to think twice about quitting Preston for npower Championship rivals Burnley. The Scotland winger last week joined the Clarets for an undisclosed fee and signed a three-year deal at Turf Moor. Wallace, who joined North End on an initial loan deal from Sunderland in August 2008 before signing a permanent contract in January 2009, is delighted to have made the move. He said: "The move came out the blue a few days ago and I just jumped at the chance. Obviously the club came down last season but I looked at it as going forward. There's no doubt Burnley is a good club. "They've kept a lot of the same players from last year and it's an exciting squad. "I know a bit about the set-up here and I can't wait for the season to start. Hopefully I will get off to a good start and the fans take to me."
