Burnley boss Brian Laws have been boosted after winger Ross Wallace was passed fit for the visit of Bolton in the third round of the Carling Cup. The former Preston man sustained a hamstring injury during Saturday's goalless draw at Crystal Palace but will be available to face the Trotters. The Clarets remain without midfielder Chris McCann as he recovers from a long-term knee injury but Laws has no other major concerns for the derby with Owen Coyle's side. Laws took heart from the draw at Palace and is confident they are heading in the right direction. He said: "I was honoured to be there to see it because that was as good a performance as I've seen."
