Tyrone in Football League team

Right back Tyrone Mears scored his first ever Burnley goal on Saturday against his former club Derby County and that goal, added to his overall performance, has won him a place in the Football League Championship Team of the Week. He becomes the fifth Burnley player to have been named in this side during the 2010/11 season in its fifteenth week. Graham Alexander has twice been in the side whilst Danny Fox, Chris Iwelumo and Martin Paterson have also been named once each.This week, Mears is in a team selected from eight different clubs with two players from each of Bristol City, Coventry and Hull, and he isn't the only player from our game to make the team; Robbie Savage has been selected in the midfield.The full team this week is: Andy Lonergan (Preston), Tyrone Mears (Burnley), Anthony Gerrard (Hull), James McPake (Coventry), Liam Fontaine (Bristol City), Jobi McAnuff (Reading), Robert Koren (Hull), Robbie Savage (Derby), Gary McSheffrey (Coventry), Brett Pitman (Bristol City), Grant Holt (Norwich).
