It's all been quiet at Turf Moor since the game ended against Spurs; that was until the man who penned the Moses quote decided to have his say. Stephen Jordan - one of two players released according to NixonAlan Nixon has reported this morning that Burnley have released captain Steven Caldwell and left-back Stephen Jordan as their contracts come to an end. There's no official word from within the club, but that's no surprise given that it was left to Clarets Mad to report that both Adam Kay and Ben Hoskin had been released and that Clarke Carlisle had already signed a new contract months ago.Other players are out of contract and as yet there is no news on them, although I am led to believe that two others have already signed new Burnley deals. The players, other than Caldwell and Jordan, who are out of contract are: Graham Alexander, Michael Duff, Brian Jensen, Robbie Blake, Steven Thompson, Nicky Weaver and Jonathan Lund.
