Burnley boss Eddie Howe will assess the fitness of a trio of players ahead of the trip to Derby. Defender Andre Bikey and midfielders Dean Marney and Chris Eagles all picked up knocks during Tuesday's 3-1 win over Middlesbrough at Turf Moor.

All three men were substituted in the final quarter of the match and Howe is hoping their injuries are not serious as the Clarets head into their last four games of the campaign Howe said: "We don't want to lose anyone at this stage of the season."

Midfielder Marvin Bartley serves the final match of a three-game ban and strikers Charlie Austin and Martin Paterson remain sidelined but midfielder Chris McCann is edging closer to a first-team return.
