Treacy turns Clarets green

Winger Keith Treacy created club history when he became Burnley's first Republic of Ireland international.[LNB] Treacy, a summer signing from Preston, won his sixth full cap as a substitute in Ireland's 0-0 draw in a friendly against Croatia in Dublin on Wednesday night.[LNB]Meanwhile, Alex MacDonald won his third Scotland Under-21 cap after coming off the bench in the 3-0 win over Norway.[LNB]The forward played more than half an hour of the Vauxhall U21 International Challenge Match at St Mirren Park.[LNB]
