Treacy admits difficult decision

Keith Treacy admits it was a difficult decision to leave Preston for Burnley but it was a move he had to make.[LNB] The 22-year-old Republic of Ireland international completed a switch to Turf Moor following North End's relegation last season, signing a three-year deal with the Clarets for an undisclosed fee.[LNB]Speaking on his new club's official website, Treacy said: "I'm sorry to be leaving them [Preston] but you've got to think about yourself and be selfish.[LNB]"I enjoyed my time at Preston. Their relegation was unfortunate, but obviously I'm looking to better myself as a player, have the best career I can and play as many games as I can for Ireland."
