Transfer window is closed for Clarets

Burnley boss Brian Laws isn't planning any further moves during this transfer window, and as long as all goes well in the next few days there will be neither comings nor goings at Turf Moor. Laws will keep an eye on things over the next few days, but hopes it is going to be a quite few days. "We are not pretending we are going to do something," he said."We will only be pro-active if necessary and that will be if something happens over the next couple of days or Saturday. Let's hope I don't have to do anything because that means we are doing everything right."A week after the window closes, the Football League loan window opens and Laws admitted that is something he could be interested in. He added: "The area we are working in, the window doesn't shut, it just shuts down for a period."We will certainly be looking at it on a regular basis to see what our needs are. In football there is always something round the corner you've got to be prepared for. You still have to be ready, just in case."
