Thompson adjusts goal target
Thompson, a free transfer from Cardiff last summer, notched his ninth goal for the Clarets at Carrow Road to add to the solitary strike he claimed for the Bluebirds.[LNB]The Scot said: "For me to get to double figures is a milestone, so I can't tell you how pleasing that is.[LNB]"I managed it a few times in Scotland, but not since I have been down in England and I just want to push on now and try to bag a few more.[LNB]"In previous seasons in the Championship I feel I have played well, but maybe under-achieved in the goal stakes.[LNB]"Every striker goes on about double figures, so I am glad to hit that and I am striving now to get closer to 15."[LNB][LNB]
