Swansea promoted as Championship line up completes

30 May 2011 18:15
Swansea City have been promoted to the Premier League for the first time after an amazing 4-2 win over Reading at Wembley this afternoon. A half time lead of 3-0 looked to be setting the Swans up for an easy win but Reading came storming back early in the second half. They pulled it back to 3-2 and only the woodwork and a fantastic block prevented them from levelling things. In the end it was a Scott Sinclair penalty, his second spot kick and his third goal of the game, that ensured the win for the Swans who become the 45th team to play in the Premier League.   As we say farewell to Swansea we can now look at the 24 clubs who will make up the Championship next season, a league which includes Birmingham, Blackpool and West Ham (relegated from the Premier League) along with Brighton, Southampton and Peterborough (promoted from League One). We list the clubs in alphabetical order showing their record since they last arrived in the Championship.   BARNSLEYno current manager Since 2006 (promoted from League One)2006/07: 20th, 50 points2007/08: 18th, 55 points2008/09: 20th, 52 points2009/10: 18th, 54 points2010/11: 20th, 56 points Last Games v Burnley -
