Chris Eagles has often been linked with a move to Everton during his time at Burnley but now speculation this morning suggests he could be a target for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer should the Clarets be relegated. Spurs' boss Harry Redknapp sees him as a player who could be a useful addition to his squad given that he can play on both the right and left, and of course it could be a move that would interest Eagles given that he is a Spurs fan.Now 24, reports this week have said that he will move on if we are relegated because he wants to continue in the Premier League. He's started seventeen games in the top flight for the Clarets this season but yesterday came on as a late substitute for Martin Paterson. He cost around £1.5 million when he signed for us in the summer of 2008 and his current contract at Turf Moor runs until the end of the 2010/11 season.
