Former Claret John Spicer has today signed on loan for Leyton Orient from Doncaster Rovers, the club he joined after leaving Turf Moor in the summer of 2008. Spice has been in and out of the Donny side this season because of the form of John Oster, Mark Wilson and Martin Woods. Although he's made 23 appearances, only ten of them have been starts with the rest from the subs bench. He was playing regularly until early October, but his only start since then came in Doncaster's home defeat to Middlesbrough in January. He's signed for Leyton Orient until the end of April whose manager Geraint Williams has said that he'll add dynamism and knowledge to his side.Having completed the move, Spice could make his debut at Brentford on Saturday and said today: "I'm looking forward to getting started with Saturday's game. It's a big game for us."I've enjoyed my first day. All the boys are top drawer and the manager seems good as well so hopefully it will be a good month for me."I've not managed to put a run of games together since the beginning of the season, so it's nice to come here and have the opportunity to have a run of games between now and the end of the season."
