The oft unreliable SSU are suggesting that we are looking to take the 29-year-old Williamson on loan to arrest our stuttering form with him having caught the eye of manager Eddie Howe.
However, Sheffield United are currently in second place in League One and pushing for an immediate return to the Championship with Williamson a regular in their side. It seems very unlikely that they would want to part with someone on loan at this stage of the season who is integral to their promotion challenge.
