Sinclair boost for Clarets

Burnley captain Frank Sinclair marked his return from injury with a 70 minute run-out in the reserves' 2-1 win over Wrexham's second string on Wednesday.

Winger Wade Elliott also completed 75 minutes to boost Steve Cotterill's options ahead of the weekend clash with Cardiff City.

New signing Duane Courtney was on the mark in his first appearance for the Clarets since arriving from AFC Telford, with Marc Pugh securing the win.
