Sean Dyche warns it would take huge fee to prise Charlie Austin from Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche believes it would take a huge transfer fee to convince the Clarets to sell Charlie Austin in January.

Austin secured Burnley point from the penalty spot against Watford at the weekend to register his 22nd goal of the season, but Dyche insists he is unconcerned about the transfer window reopening.

"It's the reality of the market," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"You want people interested in your players. "I'm pretty sure, knowing the club now as I do, it would take a hell of a figure to get him to leave.

"You want interest in your players because that's usually a good sign that things are going well, and there are a lot of good things going on here.

"We've just got to make sure we keep that and turn it into results."
