Scunthorpe still to decide on McDonald

Kevin McDonald's second month on loan at Scunthorpe comes to an end after their game this weekend at Portsmouth, but as yet they are still to make a decision on whether they wish to extend the loan. The midfielder has played five games in the two months he's been at Glanford Park with his first game delayed because of a back injury. In their last game, however, he was relegated to the subs bench for their 3-0 defeat at Millwall.Today, Iron boss Ian Baraclough said: "It's not something we've decided upon yet. Kevin was on the substitute's bench for the last game at Millwall and I'm sure he will want to be in the team at Portsmouth on Saturday."It is potentially his last game but we'll have to assess where we are after the game. I will sit down and have a chat with Kevin, and I will also speak with Brian Laws. It's not a foregone conclusion either way whether he stays or goes."
