Halsey, who would have refereed the Huddersfield game had it been played last Saturday, was last seen in charge of a Burnley game as we bowed out of the Carling Cup against Tottenham in January 2009.
For Scott, who will referee our game at Brighton, it is a first Burnley game since the 2-1 win at Coventry last season.
