Robbie could be set for Premier League return
Robbie Blake turned down a new contract offer with the Clarets last Wednesday and could now be set for a return to the Premier League with play off winners Blackpool. Robbie wanted a two year contract with no conditions and when that wasn't offered he reluctantly decided it was time to move on. He took that step with a heavy heart as he said he wanted to remain with the Clarets.He admitted that he wouldn't want to sign for another club in the same division, and it is thought that although Preston wanted him they couldn't come close to a decent offer.Now, Ian Holloway is thought to be set for talks with the Clarets' talisman and that could yet see Robbie playing Premier League football again next season.
