Ref justice for Laws

Burnley manager Brian Laws was unimpressed with referee Iain Williamson's performance in the 1-1 draw at QPR. The Clarets grabbed a point, and scored the first league goal by a visiting team at Loftus Road this season, when Graham Alexander cancelled out Adel Taarabt's fine opener from the penalty spot. But Laws was unhappy after Williamson booked Chris Eagles for diving in the area following Clint Hill's challenge. Laws said: "It was a scrappy game and the referee should take responsibility for that - was the game too big for him? "I've had to make decisions because of him. I took Chris Eagles off because I thought he would send him off. "Eagles is an honest lad, he's got a fat lip to show from it and it wasn't from me!"
