Record pre-tax profit boosts Clarets
Burnley have reported a pre-tax profit of £14.4m to shareholders.
The accounts for the 2009/10 season, ending on June 30 this year, includes rises in all aspects of the business, from match income to shop sales.
Chairman Barry Kilburn said: "As predicted, our exposure to the increased revenues of the Premier League has enabled the club to achieve a record profit.
"This has been used to good effect to correct the losses incurred over previous years, repaying debt and strengthening the balance sheet."
