Rangers make approach for Eagles

Burnley have confirmed they have received an approach from Rangers for Chris Eagles. The two clubs have now entered into negotiations for the player who joined the Clarets in the summer of 2008 on a three year deal. He's been linked with a variety of clubs over his time at Turf Moor, but any move back to the Premier League looked unlikely with no real interest shown in him since our relegation. There was speculation of a move to Rangers a couple of weeks ago, that was increased this week and now it looks as though he could be heading to the SPL with the fee believed to be around the same as we paid for him when he arrived from Manchester United.
