QPR and Bolton interest not welcome

Bolton's interest in midfielder Chris McCann is public knowledge but recently QPR have shown more than a passing interest in striker Jay Rodriguez with suggestions that Neil Warnock has made an offer. Warnock spoke highly of Jay back in January on Sky's 'Football League Weekend' and as such any move for him cannot come as a surprise."We're not open to any offers for Jay, and we won't encourage any either," Burnley boss Eddie Howe said. "He's had a fantastic season and he's a big part of our plans. I've not heard anything from QPR, but if I did they would be told to go away in no uncertain terms. The current situation with Chris McCann is that he's considering the latest offer from Burnley whilst former boss Owen Coyle is still believed to be sniffing round. The Bolton boss has told the media that he is looking to bring in young, vibrant players that they can improve and it looks likely for certain that Swansea's Darren Pratley will be joining the Premier League team that had a difficult end to the season.I have a hunch that both Chris and Jay will be in the Burnley team come August when the 2011/12 season gets underway.
