Burnley have already confirmed pre-season friendlies against Altrincham and Oldham Athletic and we can now add a trip to Bristol Rovers to the schedule. The Clarets will play at the Memorial Ground on Tuesday 19th July with the game kicking off at 7:45 p.m.It will be our first visit to the ground since August Bank Holiday Monday in 1999 when we lost 1-0 in a game that had 10 yellow cards and a red card and ended with the two managers, Ian Holloway and Stan Ternent seething at the performance of referee Keith Hill. A curious penalty decision provided the winner for the home side, converted by Jamie Cureton. We can expect further news of games to be played in the South West.Pre-Season Schedule09/07 - Altrincham (a)19/07 - Bristol Rovers (a) 26/07 - Oldham Athletic (a)
