The points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year were very much shared out from our game at Coventry with Lee Grant coming out on top despite not having much to do in terms of making saves. It was left back Brian Easton, however, who won the man of the match with 28.4% of the vote in just this third league outing for the Clarets. Jay Rodriguez took second place with a 16.7% share and Grant came out third with 12.0% of the vote.Grant it was who won the player ratings. His rating of 7.13 out of 10 was enough to give him first place with right back Tyrone Mears coming second with a rating of 6.94. Rodriguez this time came third with a rating of 6.88 out of 10.That gives Grant four points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year. There are three points each for Easton and Rodriguez with two points for Mears. Those points don't affect the top of the Player of the Year table where Jack Cork and Chris Eagles still sit comfortably in the top two positions. Grant has now moved into sixth place and all of the others to win points in this game have moved up.There is no vote currently in progress but the man of the match vote for the Derby game will start during Saturday evening.Clarets Mad Player of the Year Table43: Jack Cork41: Chris Eagles30: Andre Bikey25: Clarke Carlisle17: Wade Elliott15: Lee Grant13: Chris Iwelumo12: Tyrone Mears11: Brian Jensen9: Dean Marney8: Michael Duff, Jay Rodriguez & Ross Wallace6: Martin Paterson4: Brian Easton3: Leon Cort2: Steven Thompson1: Graham Alexander & Danny Fox
