Player Pages are complete

The last of the player pages were restored today; and that means the most recent players have been added today meaning all 524 of them are now back online. Andy Gray's page includes a profile Those added today are players who have debuted for us since the start of the 2005/06 season. Four players made their debuts on the opening day of that season t Crew - Wade Elliott, Gifton Noel-Williams, Garreth O'Connor and, as a substitute, Kyle Lafferty. This set of pages also includes players who, over the last three seasons, have been full time professionals with Burnley although didn't make the first team. That includes players such as Chris Anderson and Adam Kay who came through the youth ranks and Bes Berisha and Nicky Weaver who didn't play in the first team. A further 83 pages have been added today and that includes a further 29 with profiles. They included the newly written profile for Graham Alexander, which can be found elsewhere on the front page. The others to have profiles are Phil Bardsley, Karl Bermingham, Steven Caldwell, Andrew Cole, Graham Coughlan, Duane Courtney, Nathan Dyer, Eric Djemba-Djemba, Stephen Foster, Andy Gray, Jon Harley, Steve Jones, Christian Kalvenes, Danny Karbassiyoon, Gabor Kiraly, Kyle Lafferty, Keith Lowe, Alan Mahon, Paul McVeigh, Gifton Noel-Williams, Garreth O'Connor, Mike Pollitt, Mark Randall, Michael Ricketts, John Spicer, Wayne Thomas, David Unsworth and Stanislas Varga. Over 200 of the player pages now have profiles but if you would like to help by writing one for an ex-Claret for whom there is still no profile then please EMAIL us and we'll be happy to include it. We are also looking for photographs of those players for whom we don't have one, and would prefer a Burnley photograph where possible to replace those who are sporting the colours of other clubs. With the player pages complete we hope to re-introduce next week the 'Played for Both' section which lists, club by club, all the post-war Burnley players who have played elsewhere in the Premier and/or Football League. The PLAYER PAGES can be found in the Players drop down menu.
