Penny drops at Juan Aurich

When Diego Penny left Burnley on Monday, after his contract was terminated by mutual consent, he said he was returning home to Peru and was close to signing a one year deal with a club. Tonight, that's been confirmed and Penny has joined Juan Aurich, a Peruvian club based in the City of Chiclayo who play in the Primera División Peruana, the same league as his former club Coronel Bolognesi.He's one of three signings for his new club right on the deadline for new registrations in Peru, with the club also signing Junior Ross from Germany and Werder Bremen's Juan José Barros.
