urnley striker David Nugent could be fit for to face Liverpool after being ruled out of the defeat by Sunderland with a hamstring problem.[LNB] The on-loan Portsmouth striker failed a late fitness test on the morning of Burnley's game at the Stadium of Light.[LNB]But Burnley hope he can play a part in the remainder of their relegation fight.[LNB]"It was a massive blow to us to lose David to a tight hamstring," said Laws. "We tested him in the morning and it just wasn't going to be worth risking because you know what hamstrings are like, and in particular with quick players, if it pops he's out for the rest of the season.[LNB]"We know we've got a bigger picture in mind with these three games coming up.[LNB]"Losing David was a blow for us, but in our opinion he will be fit for next week, which gives us an even better chance."[LNB]
