No new problems for Howe

New Burnley boss Eddie Howe has a near full-strength squad available for the trip to struggling Scunthorpe. Northern Ireland striker Martin Paterson looks set to remain absent with a thigh problem and midfielder Chris McCann is still recovering from a long-term knee injury. But Howe has no other major worries as the Clarets bid to kickstart his reign with a victory at Glanford Park. Howe, 33, was unveiled as successor to Brian Laws on a three-and-a-half-year deal on Monday after a hugely successful spell at Bournemouth. Howe led the Cherries from the depths of League Two to League One promotion contenders and chairman Barry Kilby hopes his youthful vibrancy will have a similar effect on Burnley. "Obviously it's a brave new world and we have particularly gone for a new generation coming in and taking the reins," said Kilby.
