No away-day blues yet for Coyle

The Clarets boss has led the top-flight newcomers to four straight wins at home since promotion, but their record on the road is the exact opposite, with four defeats coming at the cost of 14 goals against and no goals scored. Those losses at Stoke, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham taken the gloss off Burnley's otherwise bright start to the season, and Coyle admits lessons have been learned. "I can't say there's any embarrassment to lose at the places we've lost at, but we all know we could have defended better in some instances," Coyle told the Burnley Citizen. "When I look at each and every game away from home, we've had early chances in the games to get in front. We have to make sure that when they come about they take them. "Our aim when we came into this league was to retain our Premier League status. There won't be many people out there who would have felt we'd have 12 points at this stage, but we have. What we do now is go away from home and look to earn points."
