No awards for Howe or Trippier

Eddie Howe and Kieran Trippier were nominated for the manager and player of the month awards for December but both have missed out.

The manager of the month award, as expected, has gone to Tony Mowbray of Middlesbrough after they won four and drew one game during the month.

Eddie Howe admitted yesterday that he did not want to win the award but was hopeful Trippier could pick up the award but that's gone to Reading's Alex Pearce.
