More reports on Tudgay

The often less than reliable Daily Mail is suggesting this morning that Burnley have now made an offer for Sheffield Wednesday forward Marcus Tudgay. The Tudgay story is becoming the new Andrew Driver or Alan Gow story as, not for the first time, we continue to be linked with the player. In July of last year we angered Sheffield Wednesday with offers described as derisory by the Hillsborough club's chairman. In the end it came to nothing and the player, desperate to play Premier League football apparently, signed a new deal with the Owls. Now, facing League One football his name is back in the frame. Blackpool, themselves just desperate to sign anyone, had an offer of around £500,000 turned down by Wednesday at the beginning of this week and now the Mail are suggesting that it has re-ignited our interest and we have matched that offer.
