Mooro to make draw

Ian Moore, or Ian Thomas-Moore to be exact, was twice sold for a million pounds and tonight he'll be the guest as those two clubs, Burnley and Nottingham Forest, meet at Turf Moor.

Having started his career at Tranmere his first permanent transfer was to Forest in March 1997 when Stuart Pearce became the first of two managers to splash out a seven figure fee for the striker.

He arrived at the City Ground at the same time as Pierre van Hooijdonk and was never able to get a first team place which led, in the end, to a move to Stockport and a productive spell there persuaded Stan Ternent to bring him to Burnley.

Stan was the second of those managers to pay a million for him and Moore signed a four and a half year deal at Burnley and he notched 50 goals for the Clarets in over 200 appearances.

He left in a £50,000 deal to Leeds in March 2005 and has since played for Hartlepool, his first club Tranmere and Rotherham, linking up with his dad Ronnie at the last two clubs.

He trained with Accrington in pre-season but is currently without a club which allows him tonight to make a return to Turf Moor to make the half time draw.
