For some it will be a difficult time, particularly those who have lost loved ones recently, and I'm certain you will all join me in having them in your thoughts. For others there is good news and it's very much a time to send our best wishes to the Parkinson family. Gary suffered a stroke in October 2010 that has left him with locked in syndrome. The family home has now been adapted to enable him to be home with his family.
We can all get caught up in football and the need to get points, and it often leads to arguments and such on the message board. But we're all Clarets and all want the best for our club and I'm sure we'll hope for a big win on Boxing Day.
