Mears: Stupid errors costing Clarets
Burnley slipped to another away defeat on Saturday after going down 2-0 to struggling Portsmouth at Fratton Park.[LNB]The Clarets have picked up just one point on their travels and full-back Mears admits they need to improve their defending if they are to enjoy any success on the road.[LNB]"We should be taking points off teams like Portsmouth and we've lost ground to one of the sides who are going to be around us at the end of the season," bemoaned Mears.[LNB]"It's slack defending which has cost us again on our travels.
