McEneaney on the move

In late July we reported that Jake McEneaney, who had been a member of our youth team for the last two seasons, had joined newly promoted Blue Square Bet North club Guiseley. He made his league debut for Guiseley in a 2-2 draw against Vauxhall Motors, providing the cross for their late equaliser, but his opportunities were limited and he wasn't able to feature too often in the first team.Following promotion, Guiseley have built up a bigger squad of around 22 players and that means some of them are not getting games, although manager Steve Kittrick has confirmed that all of those players will have a part to play during the season. With Jake one of the players on the fringes, it has led to a move this month, on loan, to Harrogate Railway, and he went straight into their side for a home game against Clitheroe. They are currently struggling near the bottom of the Evo-Stik League North and Jake has now played three games for them.
